Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha (45 minutes transfer)

Arrival of your flight at Kilimanjaro International Airport.  You will be warmly welcomed by our representative and your driver-guide outside customs and immigration hall.  You will be assisted with your bags and proceed to your hotel.  If time permits, you will have a tour briefing at the hotel lobby ready to start your safari proper in the morning.  Dinner and overnight stay.

Hotel Mount Meru

Situated at the foothills of Mount Meru in the city of Arusha, the Mount Meru Hotel is set on 15 acres of serene and lush landscape and surrounded by some of Africa’s most breathtaking vistas. The guest rooms include mini-refrigerators, tea and coffee making facilities, DSTV with Freeview channels, and free Wi-Fi. With three on-site restaurants, as well as a bar and cigar lounge, guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining and drinking. Guests can unwind in the swimming pool, or enjoy rejuvenating massages and treatments at the Tulia Spa and Salon. The hotel also offers a golf course and a variety of convenience shops.

Day 2: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park  (3 hours drive)

Breakfast at the hotel and check out. You will immediately set off for Lake Manyara National Park region, via mto wa mbuu.  Arrive and check-in at the camp, followed by lunch.  15h00:  Depart for afternoon game drive in the park.

Return to the camp in the evening before sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Some where in its rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees stood my lodging. Overlooking Lake Manyara and adjoining Lake Manyara National Park and the rusty gold 600 meter high Rift Valley escarpment, the Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp. Offers guest comfort and privacy in the ten luxurious canvas tented chalets and sixteen self contained cottages with private balconies overlooking the real Africa- majestic, unfiltered and unadorned. Also perfect for newlyweds, the honeymoon suite is lined with chiffon walls, draped ceilings, large corner bathtub, adjoining shower and private game viewing deck.

The pure feeling of relaxation and serenity, a sensation that is nearly impossible to come by in busy, everyday life, can surely be felt in the camp.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Central Serengeti (4 hours drive) 

Early breakfast and check out. Set off for Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro massif.  

Arrive and check-in at the camp, followed by late  lunch. (you can also carry picnic lunches and just start game drive)

16h00: Depart for an afternoon game drive. 

Return to the camp before sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 & 5: Central Serengeti (Game viewing drive)

2 full days spent in Serengeti National park with at least two game drives.

KATI KATI SERENGETI CAMP (FB: Lunch, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

Day 6: Serengeti – Karatu, Ngorongoro massif (4 hours)

Breakfast at the camp and check out. 07h30: Depart for Ngorongoro Consrvation Area with game drive as you exit Serengeti.

En-route, you may opt to visit the historic Olduvai Gorge and/or visit a traditional Maasai tribal village. Ol Duvai Gorge, labelled the “Cradle of Mankind”, is where the first early human species occupied 1.9 million years ago. Pending interest level, we can arrange for a private tour down into the excavation site where the famous researchers Louis & Mary Leakey first made their incredible discoveries about the origin and evolution of man. Each stop would last approximately 1 hour.

Picnic lunch en route. Continue to the  lodge. Arrive later in the afternoon and check in assistance. The evening is at leisure to relax. Dinner and overnights stay. 

 Ngorongoro farmhouse lodge

Ngorongoro Farmhouse Lodge is situated beneath the majestic Oldeani Volcano, and boasts easy access to both the untamed wilderness of Ngorongoro Conservation Area, as well as the simple pleasure of a ramble through 500 acres of farmland.

Ngorongoro Farm House was inaugurated on February 20th 2003, and is offering 52 room cottages, 49 standard rooms and 3 suite rooms, all with ample space inside, built on the style of an old colonial farm and rustically decorated with local materials and full of details of good taste, with the purpose of offering our clients an imaginary journey to the life of the days gone.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Conservation area  – Ngorongoro crater game drive 

Today we recommend an early morning rise to be the first ones on the crater floor; see the sun rise and catch the nocturnal animals returning from their hunts; this is when the animals are most active and there are fewer vehicles in the bush. We will break for a picnic breakfast/lunch.

The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique ecosystem also known as “the eighth wonder of the world”. The crater formed after a large volcano collapsed on itself 2-3 million years ago, Take-in the “unparalleled beauty of one of the world’s most unchanged wildlife sanctuaries” while in search of resident game such as elephant herds, lion prides, cheetahs, hyenas, zebra herds, and so much more.

Ascend in the evening and head for your lodge. Dinner will follow later and overnight stay. 

 NGORONGORO FARM HOUSE (FB: Lunch, Dinner, Bed & Breakfast)

Day 8: Karatu, Ngorongoro massif – Arusha (3 hours and half)

Breakfast at the lodge and set off for Arusha. Arrive and have lunch at the Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Later, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. 

Bid farewell to your driver guide then proceed to check in  for your outbound flight.
